The work included under this Contract between IRC & Hartecs Group Pty Ltd includes Asset Inspection, defect identification, quality assurance overview and engineering advisory services relating to bridge strengthening, contractor road and road related assets construction and maintenance, inclusive of the following items:
- Defect identification in alignment with the TMR routine maintenance guidelines.
- Quality assessment of road maintenance activities across the IRC network within the Infrastructure Access Agreement boundaries in alignment with TMR routine maintenance guidelines.
- Safety and environmental assessment for contractors undertaking road and bridge maintenance activities relating to the IRC Infrastructure Access Agreement.
- Monitor the principle and contract personal on the implementation of correct construction process, practice and QA documentation implementation.
- Bridge strengthening Engineering Technical advisory services.
- Road design technical and engineering review and advisory services.
Hartecs role throughout this project was to develop, implement, monitor and review the overarching program assurance and quality management plan, review the principles and contractor management plans including but not limited to, TMP’s, Quality, environmental and safety plans. In addition to assurance activities technical and engineering (RPEQ) advisory services were provided relating to road design and bridge improvement and bridge strengthening works.
