Hartecs Group was engaged by Rockhampton Regional Council to deliver the remediation design for the Jardine Park Netball Courts, a key community sports facility in North Rockhampton. The project was initiated in response to surface deterioration, poor drainage, and safety concerns raised by users of the facility.
As the lead civil design consultant, Hartecs provided comprehensive site investigations, engineering assessments, and detailed design documentation to support the remediation and improvement of the courts. The design scope included:
- Surface remediation and regrading to address ponding and cracking
- Drainage design to improve stormwater flow and prevent future damage
- Recommendations for long-term durability of pavement and surfacing materials
- Accessibility and user safety enhancements
- Coordination with stakeholder and user groups throughout the design
The Jardine Park Netball Court Remediation Design forms part of Council’s broader investment in active recreation facilities, with Hartecs proud to contribute engineering expertise to a project that promotes health, sport, and community well-being.
