Hartecs were engaged to prepare a detailed site based stormwater management plan for development application and construction purposes, for the 500MW battery energy storage plant at Bouldercombe. Hartecs’ scope included stormwater modelling of the batter storage facility.
To reduce over construction costs, Hartecs’ modelling utilised open channels and stormwater pipes as OSD, which reduced the requirement for construction / import of OSD tanks. Hartecs scope of works included:
¨ Stormwater quality modelling – including sizing of treatment basins / devices.
¨ Stormwater quantity modelling – including sizing of detention tanks / basins as required.
¨ Preparation of Stormwater management report – summarising the results from the quantity and quality modelling above.
