Hartecs Group has been engaged by Livingstone Shire Council for the Taroomball Truck Sewer Upgrade. It is a critical infrastructure initiative aimed at accommodating the region’s projected population growth and improving sewage conveyance capacity within the Taroomball, Taranganba, and Yeppoon localities.
The project is structured under a Lump Sum Contract in accordance with a modified AS2124 standard and includes extensive design, civil, mechanical, and electrical works.
Livingstone Shire Council (LSC) have a need to provide a trunk sewerage system to cater for the expected increased population growth in the Taroomball development precinct. A key objective of this project is to safely construct new rising mains that have a service life of 50 years and are designed to cater for the growth in the catchment and meet LSC and CMDG design and reliability standards and ERA 63 code of compliance requirements.
The project comprises the construction, and commissioning of multiple integrated sewerage system components:
- Gravity Sewer Infrastructure
- Rising Mains
- Pump station works
- Decommissioning works
- Compliance and environmental requirements
- Project Superintendence, Owners Engineer and Supervision
