Hartecs were engaged to provide construction surveillance and verification services on behalf of Sunwater.

Largest Weir constructed in Australia Since WWII.  The Rookwood Weir Project is a concrete weir structure with associated early works packages.  The weir site is approximately 265kms (AMTD) upstream on the Fitzroy River and approximately 66km south-west of Rockhampton.  Weir specifications:

  • Spillway length = 202m
    Total structure = 350m
    Concrete = 131,000m3
