The work included under this Contract comprised the inspection and quality monitoring along with contract site administration for three separate stabilization contracts on both DTMR and Council maintained roads within the Isaac Region. The works being undertaken by two separate contractors running consecutively.
The following elements were included in the Contract:
- Setout and traffic control including TMP & TGS’s.
- Supply of all makeup gravel and stabilizing agents.
- Supply of all construction water.
- Removal of any unsuitable material and supply of replacement materials.
- Stabilization, trimming and compaction of the completed works.
- Sealing of the stabilized sections with a Double-Double C170 binder and wearing course.
- Reinstate Line-marking.
Hartecs role throughout this projects was to Inspect, monitor and administer the contract in accordance with documents and report to IRC Engineer in charge of the works.
