The Surf LakesTM technology represents a revolution in surfing. Rather than producing waves via existing traditional methods, Surf Lakes works by generating concentric waves from a central wave generator that radiate outwards. Each wave breaks on a variety of submerged reefs and shorelines. Each reef captures the energy of the swell at different points and shapes the resulting wave, thus a creating a variety of sizes and shapes of waves.
The scope of services provided by Hartecs included:
- Act as the site construction manager including constructability inputs, program reviews and site supervision to ensure efficient delivery of the Works consistent with the requirements of the construction Contract.
- Act as the Superintendent in accordance with the provisions of the Modified AS4000 Contract and oversee the necessary functions including supervision, administration, surveillance, and liaison to ensure efficient delivery of the Works consistent with the requirements of the construction Contract.
