Banana Shire Council has engaged Hartecs Group to support the delivery of a new Splash Park at Lions Park, Biloela, creating a vibrant recreational destination for the local community.
Once completed, the Splash Park will become a significant regional recreational asset, providing accessible outdoor water play facilities for families across the Banana Shire.
The project aims to deliver a safe, inclusive and family-friendly public space that encourages active recreation and social connection. The Splash Park will provide an exciting new leisure facility for residents and visitors, enhancing the livability and attractiveness of the Biloela township. This important community initiative is funded by the Queensland Government, in partnership with the mineral resources industry, including members of the Queensland Resources Council, and delivered in collaboration with Banana Shire Council.
Our Role:
- Project governance and delivery oversight to support Council and the contractor through all phases of the project.
- Review of contractor documentation, including project management plans, quality systems, safety procedures, and delivery methodologies.
- Support to the construction contractor in preparing and coordinating key project documentation such as design deliverables, specifications, work programs and construction planning.
- Monitoring project progress and performance, including weekly planning, programming and reporting activities.
- Contractual support and coordination, assisting with project communication, issue resolution and alignment with contractual obligations
